- Awesome Music: "Promised Land", a huge, cheesy glam-metal stadium song about Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll, is Vesuvius's biggest hit, and it's not hard to see why — as ridiculous and shameless as it is, it's also incredibly fun.note While the movie itself has been largely forgotten, "Promised Land" got several more years of longevity, being a free promotional single on the Rock Band store.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: A brief one about halfway into the movie, on the tour bus Amelia notices Matt sleeps with his eyes open, and wakes him up. He quickly denies it.
- Squick: And how. The naked drummer. That's waaaaaay more than anyone needed to see of Dwight from The Office.
