  • Vindice's revenge.
  • In the film version: The Duke's admitting to Vindice (while he is disguised as Piato), with a chuckle, that after he killed Vindice's wife for not sleeping with him, he raped her corpse. This exchange, notably, only happens in the film and does not appear anywhere in the original play.
