- Memetic Molester: Zhen Zhibing is infamous among Asians as "that guy who raped Xiaolongnü". Doesn't help at all is the fact that the paragraph describing the act read like softcore porn and among the most famous examples of fanservice in Jin Yong's novels.
- The Scrappy: Guo Fu, big time. She is one of the most hated characters of Jin Yong's universe, mostly because she is a bitch towards fan-favorite Yang Guo, as well as her obnoxious personality.
