Internal relationship dramas and sexual tension start threatening the group stability and ultimately ability to survive? Check. The group comes across a seeming idyllic and peaceful community which is actually a cover for a creepy cannibal cult? Check.
- As for outbreak story cliches, of course, the story hinging on the one special immune child is also nigh-obligatory.
- Fridge Logic: So why doesn't Martin's team have a second guard posted in their immediate vicinity (tent entrance being an example), in case either Martin hesitate or gone missing to stop the infected woman. And why one of them didn't open fire upon her refusal to identify as Martin was ordered to act along with how she managed to overpower them.
