• Franchise Original Sin: When Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure was first released, some fans complained that the Fat Controller was being aggressive and nasty. That side to his behaviour actually stems back nearly 30 years prior in this book. The Fat Controller, after Gordon gets in his bad books, jumps to conclusions and becomes abrupt with Gordon. He does apologise for his actions by the end of the story though.
