  • Broken Base: Even among people who are fans of the Caustic Critic style of reviewing, he's got a bit of mixed reputation due to the fact much of his anger is actually quite legitimate and not part of act like most other caustic critics. Not helping is he's also a notorious Fan Hater to anyone who likes something that he doesn't and tends to get confrontational with people who disagree with him, which turns into a "chicken or egg" argument considering how aggressive said detractors often behave from the outset in defending their sacred cows. Some people believe he is in the right for reinforcing his opinions and it's the detractors' fault for making him a Fan Hater due to how aggressive they themselves tend to get. Some others see it the other way around and believe the detractors are only so aggressive because of his bashing. The debate over who started it first is quite violent, to say the least.
  • He Panned It, Now He Sucks!: He tends to get this reaction from a lot of his stuff given his controversial nature.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • At the end of his Breath of Fire retrospective with his thank you message to his fans.
    • "The Michael Jackson Rebuttal" being an absolutely blazing defense of the man in question, destroying every argument used against him to support Michael's innocence. While this in itself is heartwarming, his preface to the argument where he expresses condolences to Michael's children for once again having shit flung on their father's legacy, really seals the deal. Razörfist is so passionate on the subject of Michael's innocence he has gladly created two follow-up videos tearing apart more "evidence" on the subject and calling out those who still try to profit off defaming the dead man's name.
Razörfist: The man is dead. He's dead largely because of his inability to deal with the unceasing barrage of bullshit and unsourced opprobrious tripe like this! And if no one else is gonna stick up in his defense, then fuck you, I'll erect the finger and do it myself!
"...Let not the true purpose of Armistice Day be lost: To commemorate the horrifying millions—many of whom you and I are...related to—that perished in the blood and mud of their respective motherlands because a shitbag-swilling branny in a palatial estate unilaterally decreed an endless procession of one-world alliances were the way forward for...humanity. This ain't about their crusty-ass Commie ideals...it's not even about mine; it's about those brave men powering over the top of a trench to certain death. I'm Razörfist; God bless America and godspeed."
    • "Godspeed, Stan Lee! (R.I.P.)", paying tribute to the recently deceased legend and his accomplishments that few know of, from innovating merchandising and licensed material, to fighting against censorship of the Comics Code Authority to make some of the finest comics in history. All with a genuine enthusiasm so people can appreciate Lee for more than just Spider-Man.
  • Memetic Mutation: "FUCK YOU, I WAS RIGHT! FUCK YOU, I WAS RIGHT! FUCK YOU, I WAS RIGHT!"
  • Moment of Awesome: In his "The Michael Jackson Rebuttal" video, he presents a well researched argument in defense of Michael Jackson.
    • Got cranked up to eleven when his unwavering spearheading of the cause of Michael's innocence was so pure and vociferous, he was able to host a livestream with Brandi and Taj Jackson themselves as his guests, dedicated entirely to defending the late pop legend.
  • Tear Jerker: During his Music Mythos episode on Queen, he comments on the song “Mother Love” on their Made In Heaven album while focusing on the significance of it containing the last vocals Freddy Mercury ever recorded in addition to the tone already set by it. He spoke on it with such a serious and sentimental tone in comparison to the rest of his content that one would not be surprised if a single tear formed from behind his shades.
  • Wangst: Considers this to be the key problem with the Final Fantasy and Metal Gear series, Catherine, and most anime and JRPGs.
