  • Genius Bonus: Conan muses to himself about the importance of the connection between the near-immortal Lords of Yimsha and golden pomegranates, but does not explain further. Pomegranates are associated with health, fertility, and death in Greek and Persian mythology. The root of "pomegranate" is "pomme," meaning "apple." In Norse Mythology, golden apples kept the gods of Asgard young and healty.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the most awesome/awful moments in Conan the Barbarian (1982) is when Thulsa Doom turns a snake into an arrow which turns back into a snake after it's struck its target. Here, the Master of Yimsha turns an arrow into a snake which turns back into an arrow after it's struck its target.
