• Alternative Character Interpretation: Compared to his cameo in the episode "Understanding Willow", Alador is noticeably less malicious or involved in manipulating Amity than his wife. Did he mellow out over the years? Or was Amity's view of him a bit skewed by Self-Serving Memory? (After all, it is possible Odalia convinced her husband to side with her on the matter.)
• I Knew It!: Ever since their cameo in a flashback in "Understanding Willow", many fans theorized that Odalia would be the worse parent between her and her husband Alador. This episode confirms it.
