  • The computer selecting "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" as something that could cheer Klyden up is quite ironic if you know its context: Liesl's boyfriend Rolfe will later become a Nazi and betray her. Seeing as MacFarlane is a huge musical theater geek, this is very likely intentional.
  • The fact that the computer cued up an individual scene sans context rather than the start of the film means Klyden is watching something more akin to YouTube than Netflix.
• Ship Tease: Alara rather unexpectedly gushes about how Ed treats her with respect and appreciation, rather than the ensign she recently broke up with. The result of this was some Orville fans putting Ed-Alara on a potential shipping forecast.
