- Angst? What Angst?: Laine is remarkably ok with the fact that someone killed her sister for asking too many questions about why the circus folk don't age.
- Funny Moments:
- The circus' Ice Garden, a garden of ice sculptures, has a sign out front warning visitors that the garden is very cold. This is both an out-of-universe and in-universe example, since even Celia is amused by this.
- Bailey sitting in his favorite tree for a while without noticing the circus on the horizon and then falling out of the tree in shock when he does see it. This is also kind of heartwarming because Bailey had been waiting for years to see the circus again.
- Ho Yay: Celia notices that Chanderesh is this for Marco.
- This is perhaps because of Marco's 'enchantments', an effect he used to influence Chanderesh into hiring a person with little real credentials for the job - and his fake appearance.
- Also Tsukiko and her former Challenger.
- Tsukiko also seems rather fond of Celia.
