• More Popular Replacement: Lt Price, the show's first Lt, was a very much more military and sarcastic figure who could be almost as much of an antagonist to the rest of the crew as Commander Povey was. He was replaced after the first season by Lt Murray, who was much more easy going, slightly more clueless, and much more willing to hang together with everyone else in the face of The Admiralty; thus much more loved by the fandom (and in-universe, the crew).
• Values Dissonance: Some of the voices and impressions are politically incorrect. Not to mention some of the jokes. In one episode, a whole routine revolves around a court reporter's attempts to get the judge prosecuting CPO Pertwee and co. for smuggling to hurry up. She desperately wants to get to the next case -- a rape case.
