• Covered Up: "Xmas Time" was originally recorded by Boston Garage Rock / punk band Dogmatics in 1985, under the title "Xmas Time (It Sure Don't Feel Like It)".
• Funny Moments: When the band performed at Lollapalooza, they were interviewed by MTV News:
  Reporter: So, how is this different from performing locally? I mean, who's minding the house? Who's watching the cat?
  Dicky: (panicked) My cat!
• Older Than They Think: They had most of their success during the nineties, so it can be a surprise to learn that they started up in the mid-eighties when the band members were in school.
• Signature Song: "The Impression That I Get". Before that was released, the most likely candidate for a signature song was "Where'd You Go?", especially after they performed it in Clueless.
