- Ho Yay:
- Hercules and Newton are basically like Batman and Robin (or, more appropriately, Superman and Jimmy Olsen), but with 50% more horse.
- That said, Hercules seemed far more interested in his "best friend" Theseus on the rare occasions he appeared (as in the pilot episode and The Wings of Mercury).
- So Bad, It's Good: The show's Narm Factor, choppy animation, and voice acting to make Barry Gjerde proud all make it absolutely hilarious to watch. The commercials on Teletoon Retro describe Hercules as fighting evil "with the help of his friends, his magic ring, and some questionable mid-century animation."
