• Heartwarming in Hindsight: The fic, set and written in 2008, has a scene depicting Arthur Read and Buster Bunny studying to become detectives as a fallback career, with the possibility of their show getting canceled being presented as likely to happen in the near future. Arthur ended up running for another fourteen years after that, with the series finale showing Arthur and Buster's careers as adults.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the major plot points involves the divide between traditionally-animated toons and CGI ones/"digis", with the titular characters of Alvin and the Chipmunks undergoing surgery to become digis. Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) features a similar divide between traditional and CGI toons, with another chipmunk character — Dale — undergoing surgery to become the latter.
