• Tear Jerker:
  • The scene where the bomb-laden boat approaches the USS Cole has a very eerie and tragic feel to it, from the lack of dialogue to the washed-out color palette and somber music. It's like watching an impending disaster unfold, knowing what's coming but unable to do anything about it. At the end, the child on the boat and many sailors aboard the Cole will be senselessly murdered for nothing.
  • Deborah Fletcher's arc, surviving the bombing only to die later while awaiting rescue and helping to keep a Kenyan survivor alive in the rubble. Seeing Bob Chesney agonize over worrying about Fletcher's fate only added to it.
