- Anti-Climax Boss: The final battle with the Xortex Core sounds difficult enough: it sends out a constant stream of bullets and lasers. In practice, however, it's actually a lot easier to dodge these than in previous battles with the same boss, and it's also a lot easier to attack because its weak spot is always exposed.
- Squick: The Plague Core is "filled with putrid water, dead rats, and old garbage." He also says he wouldn't mind if you use him as a toilet.
- That One Attack:
- Some enemies in Xortex 26XX can shoot lasers, which are a lot harder to dodge than bullets.
- One of Xortex Core's attacks involve emitting tons of bullets while shooting packs of bullets at the player which explode, making them extra difficult to dodge.
