  • Americans Hate Tingle: The album was a smash worldwide, except in the U.S. This was because Kate Bush's style never fit into the narrow formats of American radio, and there were few outlets for music videos in the country in the pre-MTV era. It's telling that Bush finally gained a foothold in the country after that channel's debut in 1981.
  • Signature Song: "Wuthering Heights" served as Bush's Breakthrough Hit in her native UK and remains one of her most well-known songs, to the point where there's an annual event dedicated to fans around the world reenacting the music video.
