• Awesome Music: "Banner Science Park", the track that plays just outside the ride's entrance.
• Moment of Awesome: The coaster's updated launch sequence is badass beyond words.
• Most Wonderful Sound: The "roar" sound that the coaster makes.
• Once Original, Now Common: The launch sequence. The ride essentially pulls a Bait-and-Switch, tricking guests into thinking they are just on a simple lift hill before suddenly launching them straight forward into a zero-G roll. In 1999, this was a legitimately shocking moment, but it's a bit less clever today now that the 'launch coaster' is practically the default format for most brand new theme park rollercoasters. Even within Island's of Adventure, both Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and VelociCoaster now coexist as much more modern examples of launch coasters, perhaps leading to guests who ride those first to not even realise that the launch system of the Incredible Hulk Coaster was ever meant to be a subversion of expectations.
• Protagonist Title Fallacy: Despite being called The Incredible Hulk Coaster, the Hulk does not appear in the current version ride, outside of the statue of him at the entrance.
