- Funny Moments
- In the film, the Gruffalo has caught the mouse and is holding him up by the tail and spinning him in circles. While he's spinning, the mouse has a "Eureka!" Moment in which he figures out how to defeat the Gruffalo — and then we see, from the Gruffalo's POV, the mouse swivelling around to face him with a wonderful Psychotic Smirk on his face. He delivers the first part of his Badass Boast ("Good? Don't call me good") and then, because his tail is still twisted around, swivels slowly away in the opposite direction, before swivelling back to deliver the rest of it.
- Another is the Gruffalo's reaction to the phrase "Gruffalo Crumble": Villainous BSoD, Big "NO!", followed by turning and running smack into a tree before finally managing to get the hell out of there.
- Ugly Cute: The Gruffalo himself. His daughter even moreso.
