- Misaimed Fandom: Divorced from its original context (a propaganda film from Nazi Germany aimed at motivating German people to not give up during World War II and reinforce their faith in the leader), it's quite easy for a modern viewer to simply appreciate the film as a historical epic about a flawed but determined king, helped by the great performance of Otto Gebühr.
