- Broken Base: Depending on who you ask, it's either one of the best horror comedies in recent years, or a ridiculous mesh of disgusting randomness that is neither funny nor unsettling and tests the viewer's patience. Middle ground is seldom found.
- Crosses the Line Twice: Really, the movie goes extra lengths to cross the line as many times as possible. One notable example is the strangler's trademarked move of squeezing his victims' necks so hard that their eyes literally pop out. He then eats them like a delicacy.
