YMMV / The Football Factory

• Designated Hero: Practically every character in the movie, but mostly Tommy, who is hinted as the main character of the movie, even though there are loads of subplots with other characters.
• Jerkass Woobie: Billy, after overhearing Harris slander him in the restroom.
• Memetic Mutation: Many of the insults that the firm members throw at each other. The most notable one is Fred's annoyed snark, "Scooby-Doo's less confused than you, you prick!"
• Narm:
  • If you're very sensitive to constant swearing, you'll probably end up crying with laughter throughout this movie. For example, Bill's annoyed statement in hospital after his heart attack: "They call it grieving ... I call it falling fucking over".
  • The movie uses very obvious stock grunts in multiple scenes (the very same ones used in the GoldenEye video game, in fact!), most noticeably in the climactic fight scene at the end.
• One-Scene Wonder: The woman with the pram at the start of the movie. Not even half a minute of screen time yet nonetheless makes an impression with her verbal beatdown of the main characters:
  "You're fucking animals! You give this fucking country a bad fucking name! You ain't no football supporters; you're fucking mugging little cunts!"
• The Woobie: Almost everyone is a woobie in this, but Tommy is arguably the biggest. It's annoying that he eventually decides to live his crazy lifestyle at the end of the movie.
