• Older Than They Think: Nathan went through an elaborate scheme to get a smoke detector labeled as a musical instrument. A smoke alarm was used by Ricky Wilson on Planet Claire by The B-52s way back in 1979.
• Signature Song: "Orphaned Skies", although it’s also their only song.
• So Bad, It's Good: Their only song, "Orphaned Skies", is hilarious because of its use of a smoke detector. If not for it using such a strange and bad-sounding object as an instrument, it would be a forgettable generic song, but instead the smoke detector made it one of the funniest moments in Nathan for You.
