- Angst? What Angst?: Sometimes, events like the failure of peace negotiations on Earth are just neglected and nobody is really puzzled by this.
- Designated Hero: Stefón collaborates with old Nazis, joins the French Foreign Legion at eleven, lusts after thirteen-year-old triplets at six years, bombs a weapon factory for supplying black Africans and commits many other utterly atrocious acts. He is celebrated as an eleven-year-old kid hero anyway.
- So Bad, It's Good: It's regarded by many as Germany's version of The Eye of Argon thanks to its awkward word choices, poor plotting, and abundant spelling and grammatical errors.
- Unintentional Uncanny Valley: Dinochen. She's meant as a Plucky Comic Relief character and is actually one of the best characterized people in the book, but her description nevertheless makes her look rather creepy.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Stefón. He's meant to be an admirable Kid Hero and Adorably Precocious Child, but in reality he's rather bratty and creepily violent for someone his age.
