• Crossover Ship: With his exhausted-looking nature and a mildly similar job, some fans have taken a liking to shipping Francis Mosses with Kevin.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Francis Mosses, the milkman who lives in the second room on the third floor, is a popular subject for fanart. This is likely because he has the most “normal” design among the neighbors, most of whom are drawn in a rather unflattering cartoonish style. This makes it quite easy to subject him to Self-Fanservice while still being recognizable.
  • Out of all preset Doppelgangers, Peach is often a fan favorite due to his massively open mouth for a smile and his hilarious Epic Fail attempt at forging documents by having "Peach" in some form for every entry and images of actual peaches for the portraits. This gives him an extremely derpy look and demeanor that can be endearing to some.
• Fandom Rivalry: With Papers, Please, with fans of the game making remarks over That’s Not My Neighbor over being a bootleg of sorts.
• Funny Moments:
  • One of the possible preset Doppelgangers is "Peach", a doppelganger who took Robertsky Peachman's surname way too literally. Besides looking hilarious with an oversized, derpy mouth, the only thing he can say is variants of "Peach" and both his ID and entry pass are filled in with variants of "Peach", with the facial photos replaced by images of actual peach fruits. You even get an achievement for seeing the guy.
  • Another one is a Doppelganger of Mia Stone that has everything down... except for the fact that her head is detached from her neck and orbiting a specific spot just above her head like a prize wheel. She insists that she doesn't need any ID because you know her.
  • Dr. W. Afton has a potential Doppelganger that is him without a nose. When asked, he simply says he took it off to avoid smelling you. Doesn't have a nose, but sure has a mouth on him.
• Nightmare Fuel: An apartment is infiltrated by shapeshifting monsters who will kill anyone if they get past the checkpoint. Even the employee meant to keep them out isn't safe.
• Self-Fanservice: As stated above in Ensemble Dark Horse, Francis Mosses is often subjected to this, on account of being the most popular of the neighbors. The doppelganger version of him is the main source of this phenomenon, with many fans combining his uniform and a more muscular physique with the blood of his potential victims. Some even jokingly refer to him as the fandom’s “Tumblr Sexyman.”
• Squick: There are deformities that can be very unnerving, especially when you first see them, such as abnormally long necks or "the brain" being exposed. For those who have trypophobia, the Dopplegangers who specifically have these kinds of traits can be especially unpleasant to look at.
• Ugly Cute: Peach the doppelganger sports what appears to be bulging eyes and a grotesquely huge open mouth, until one hears that he can only say "Peach" in various forms, his ID/entry pass having variants of "Peach" replacing all the text, and the images on his documents being actual peach fruits. Those bulging eyes and grotesque mouth on him suddenly look more like a huge, derpy smile after that.
