- Edwin Morose was originally a gift to a man's girlfriend, but ended up thrown away when the couple broke up. Ever since, Edwin has been deeply depressed and can only recover by finding true love, which has little chance of happening because his crush Rita doesn't like him.
- In the end, Abnormal Cyrus is just a goofball who wants to make friends, but has the misfortune of being completely loathed by the other Teddy Scares.
