- Complete Monster: Season 2: Park Min Geon, aka the Bishop, was responsible for kidnapping numerous children, putting them in a orphanage, and gaslighting them into thinking they were abandoned by their parents. The Bishop then brainwashed them into becoming his protégés, killing the children he considered "weak". One of the kids, Kim Dan Woo, later On Ha Joon, was manipulated into killing his own father as initiation. The Bishop schemed for many years revenge against the Rainbow crew, wanting to spitefully eradicate them so he could continue his evil deeds. In addition, the Bishop had disturbing obsession with Kim Do-Ki and, wanting to destroy him, lured him into a trap, and cruelly reminded him of his mother's murder.
- Friendly Fandoms: To Signal, another Lee Je-Hoon vehicle. Considering both his characters Park Hae-Young and Kim Do-Ki start off the series losing their family members and their trauma and distrust of law caused by it and later finding something to be part of to get justice and prevent crimes. Heck, Do-Ki could even be described as a Hotter and Sexier Hae-Young.
- Ho Yay: In Season 2, Kim Do-Ki was shipped with the journalist/Rainbow Taxi requester Kim Yong-min during the "Black Sun Nightclub" arc due to their chemistry and especially the fact that this was the first time viewers saw Do-Ki being THAT close with a requester, so much so they ended up having more meet-ups and Do-Ki even personally showed up to Yong-min's apartment to hear his story, compared to the previous cases where the story is told in his deluxe taxi and Do-Ki is also the one to push his case further into the team. Fans were hoping that Yong-min would return in the future and him and Do-Ki would be an official couple. Bonus points for the fact that their first meeting looked something like a Rescue Romance of sorts.
