- Complete Monster: Dracula. See that page for details.
- Creepy Cute: Alice may be working with Dracula, but Linda Hayden is just so wide-eyed and innocent-looking. She'd almost qualify for Moe if she wasn't one of the villains.
- Jerkass Woobie:
- Paxton, the least hateful of the fathers. He is the most reluctant to take part in the Satanic ritual and is genuinely grief-stricken over his daughter.
- Alice qualifies too. Yes, she joins forces with Dracula, but when you consider her horribly abusive upbringing, it's hard not to feel at least somewhat sorry for her. And then Dracula turns on her once she outlives her usefulness.
- Jerks Are Worse Than Villains: William Hargood is one of the Hammer Horror Dracula franchise's most hated characters, even more so than Count Dracula himself, due to the horrible way he treats his wife and daughter. While Dracula is quite monstrous and won't hesitate to murder anyone even For the Evulz, he at least has zero pretensions over what he is. Hargood, on the contrary, is an abusive Control Freak who nevertheless sees himself as a righteous, godly man. This gross moral dissonance has earned him exactly zero fans among the Hammer Horror fandom.
- Moral Event Horizon: If he wasn't already past it, William Hargood goes over when he tries to personally whip his daughter for the heinous crime of getting engaged.
- Retroactive Recognition:
- Sir Frederick Gray was the Abusive Parent Asshole Victim Hargood. Which becomes Hilarious in Hindsight when you consider that Dracula in this picture is not other then Francisco Scaramanga and that Gray made his debut immediately after the installment that featured Scaramanga.
- Speaking of James Bond, the actor who played Weller is the father of the actor who would go on to play Bill Tanner in the Daniel Craig era.
- Paxton was played by Peter Sallis of Wallace & Gromit fame.
- A father is played by Keith Marsh, who would later be best known for playing Jacko in Love Thy Neighbour.
