That One Attack: Taito shmups in general, particularly ones made starting in the early 90s, are infamous for what many players dub the "Taito Homing Lasers" or simply "Taito Lasers". They track the player very tightly and require some very masterful two-dimensional dogfighting skills to avoid. In fact, many players consider them more difficult to avoid than modern Bullet Hell patterns.
