YMMV / Suzy's Zoo: Daisuki! Witzy

Go To

  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Boof seems to get a greater deal of merchandise compared to Witzy, Patches or even Lulla.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: For a franchise that originated in America, it sure does have quite a following from both Target and Periphery Demographics in Japan and Taiwan.
  • I Am Not Shazam: Despite the title, it's actually an animated adaptation of the Little Suzy's Zoo franchise, not the original Suzy's Zoo. This has caused confusion enough for Google to put up the wrong description on both Google Play TV and Youtube Premium.
  • Moe: Every single character qualifies. But special mentions go out to Lulla. Let's face it, it's difficult to resist a fluffy cuddly plush white musical bunny.
  • Periphery Demographic: Cellphone trinklets? Now that's indication that the show has a periphery demographic in Japan. Also, virtual stickers for BlackBerry Messenger. Looks like even middle-aged businessmen loves the show.
  • Viewer Gender Confusion: It can be quite hard for a new viewer to tell Witzy's gender if they were not informed beforehand, especially in the original Japanese version where he has a higher-pitched voice. The English dub has him with a lower voice pitch to reduce the confusion. Careful listeners will also hear the narrator refer to Witzy by gender.
