The author got the co-op bots out of character even though they don’t talk and we don’t even know if they have human-like intelligence. Last, but certainly not least, the author has managed to get an inanimate object, the Companion Cube, out of character.
  • And the turret, which is supposed to be a sympathetic killing machine, as well.
  • And the morality core, which restricts GLaDOS from killing test subjects, not make her consumed with friendship.
