YMMV / Supergirl (2015) S4E11 "Blood Memory"

• Ass Pull: Isabel is killed by a random poisonous spider. Couldn't we get at least one line about how they're a danger in the area?
• Genius Bonus: Kara's favorite movie being The Wizard of Oz may be a nod to how the source material has what could be considered the first transgender character of mainstream fiction, with Princess Ozma being magically transformed into a boy named Tip to prevent her from taking her rightful throne, and having no idea she was actually born a girl until the spell was reversed.
• Jerkass Ball: Alex, not knowing Supergirl is her sister, is needlessly cold to her presumably just because she quit working for the D.E.O. Even though Alex openly opposes Col Hayley and should be in complete agreement of her reasons for doing so.
• Plot Hole: While there are a lot of issues with simply removing the entire concept of Kara being an alien from Alex's entire memory from the time she was fourteen, most of it can be Hand Waved off under a suspension of disbelief. What doesn't work is Alex suddenly being aggressive towards all aliens solely because she didn't grow up with one as a sister, because Kara's status never changed Alex's mind on whether aliens were threats- Maggie did.
