- Awesome Music: The Oceans' theme song. You hear the "if Boney M had done a theme song for a Miami-set cop show in The '70s" theme a lot in the movie. Disco gloriousness, beating Crockett and Tubbs to the earwormy punch by years.
- Funny Moments: "We should probably call an ambulance for him…"
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: In Europe, where Terence Hill is a superstar, this movie is usually overlooked. In America it's probably his best known film.
- Special Effects Failure: The movie's basically one long special effects failure, few scenes stand out:
- Our hero blasts through the prison wall to escape in the climax (he's clearly jumping through a hole that was papered over with paper). Cut to the stuntman bursting through bricks outside, and a shot of... something... diving in a straight line into the sea with no hole in the wall behind him).
- The Barrier-Busting Blow mentioned on the main page is a bit undercut by the door being about a quarter inch thick and made of balsa wood.
- Our hero earlier in the movie walking on water. It's easy to tell he's walking on poorly disguised platforms just below the surface.
