- Awesome Art: The sprite work is very well done. Capturing the same vibe as many indie comic books, whilst still feeling like its own thing.
- Awesome Music: The trailer/credits theme.
- Best Level Ever: The music classroom, for its hilariously exaggerated portrayal of famous musicians, hectic boss fight with Sir Glockenspiel at the end, and the incredible soundtrack that plays during it all.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The boxing-style boss fight against the janitor appears out of the blue upon meeting him at one point, and is never mentioned again. But that doesn't make it any less hilarious.
- Quirky Work: And how! The game's enemies include walking science equipment, goblin soldiers, flying green ghost presents and Animesque Mr. Fanservice cacti. There are also a ton of Big Lipped Alligator Moments, random Shout Outs to all sorts of media, and almost all of the BGM includes vocals whispering the game's title or variations of it.
- Suspiciously Similar Song:
- "Phantomblasters", the BGM for the Paranormal Investigation Club after they get funds from Ebenezer Scrooge, is quite clearly based on the theme song from Ghostbusters.
- The trailer/credits theme sound a lot like the credits theme from Broforce. It even has the same eagle screech sound effect at the start.
