• Cliché Storm: There is very little to the story that has not been seen in previous Tokusatsu films and Super Robot Genre shows.
• So Bad, It's Good: It suffers, in the English dub, from bad translations, truck-loads of ham that make things hard to take seriously, the scientist's inexplicable cod-German accent, Avatar's shrill and grossly overused Evil Laugh,a lot of New Powers as the Plot Demands including a plot-irrelevant ability to fly, but all served with great designs, animation and an epic soundtrack.
