Die for Our Ship: Lola is demonized by Summer/Ale fans, simply because she's introduced as Ale's new Love Interest after season 1, to the point of overshadowing the female lead Summer in later seasons. Many even call Lola a Manipulative Bitch with an evil plan to keep Summer away from Ale.
Ensemble Dark Horse: Ale's best friend Dario, for being one of the most likable characters and his friendship with Sofia.
Fan-Preferred Couple: Unsurprisingly, Summer and Ale are the couple supported by the vast majority of fans. Many fans were very disappointed by the couple's lack of development in season 2 and 3, especially the final episode where Ale ends up with Lola.
Just Here for Godzilla: Many people watched this show only because Ale is played by Ludovico Tersigni, best known for his portrayal of Giovanni Garau, the most popular character in the Italian version of Skam.
So Okay, It's Average: While not outrageously bad, this is far less popular and more ignored than other Italian Teen Dramas of the same period (Baby, The Sea Beyond, or the Italian remake of Skam). It's also more simple and inoffensive, the characters are absolutely average people, so hardly anything exciting happens aside from the usual romantic drama, and the storylines are not very original. It's basically a Lighter and Softer, politically correct version of the original work Three Steps Over Heaven.
They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: In the Spanish dub, this series got the Completely Different TitleA Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo which was also the title of the very popular Spanish remake of Three Steps Over Heaven, the inspiration behind this series. Spanish fans were disappointed that this series has nothing to do with the original work (specifically, the Spanish version), and it's almost completely different from the story they are familiar with, in both characters and plot.
