  • Fandom Rivalry: The series has one with Temple Run, another popular endless runner.
  • Game-Breaker: The Jetpack and Magnet power-ups, especially when they're fully upgraded. They make getting coins downright trivial, and they're not hard to find in playthroughs.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • "You unlocked Clown Outfit" Explanation
    • Ever since around 2023, the game has been becoming infamous for footage of it being played over videos that otherwise don't have much visual stimulation, as well as Family Guy clips. This is done in order to avoid losing viewers with a low attention span.
  • Obscure Popularity: The game has been around for over a decade and is one of the most downloaded games of all time, with over a billion downloads to it's name. Not to mention it has a active playerbase with frequent updates still happening. Despite that, you rarely ever see people ever talk about the game and it's online fandom is rather small.
  • That One Side Quest:
    • The Luck-Based Mission mentioned in the main page automatically qualify.
    • "Stumble onto X obstacles". Compared to "Stumble onto a train" or "Stumble onto a traffic light", the timing window for you to jump over or onto obstacles to stumble on them is stricter and much more unforgiving; a split second too early and you miss it completely, but a split second too late and it will end your run. Also, picking up super sneakers makes it practically impossible to clear this mission since it makes your character ascend too quickly to bump onto obstacles. That said, you can cheat the system by using hoverboards, as outright crashing onto an obstacle while on hoverboard still counts as stumbling without ending your run, but good luck if you haven't been hoarding them.
    • "Pick exactly X coins". Thanks to coins appearing in droves in this game, trying to pick exactly one or two coins to fulfill this mission is a nightmare. Not to mention that this mission pretty much turns magnet and jetpack, the two most useful powerups in the game, into Poison Mushroom since they remove your already-tenuous ability to control how many coins you want to pick up.
    • "Pick X coins with pogo stick" is easily the most insidious mission in the game. Not only you're at the mercy of RNG as to when a pogo stick will show up, the amount of coin you can pick up per pogo stick is incredibly low even with magnet. Have fun collecting 1000 (or more) coins with pogo stick when you can't even get 50 coins per stick.
