• Genius Bonus: A minor one, but Amethyst suggests planting hydrangeas, before admitting that she doesn't know what those are. Hydrangeas famously change the colour of their blooms with soil acidity (blue for acidic, pink for alkaline), and so are sometimes used to evaluate the condition of soil. Unfortunately, given what the Kindergarten soil is like, it probably wouldn't make a difference in the end.
