  • For years, fans have been joking about Steven needing to get therapy, and come his downward spiral in Future, many started predicting that he actually would. This episode has it mentioned in passing that Steven has been indeed been seeing a therapist since the events of the previous episode.
  • People also predicted the series ending with Steven leaving Beach City, noting how the credits song "Being Human" alludes to traveling and the sequence itself literally having Steven drive away from town. Bonus points for the last scene of the episode (and of the series) transitioning seamlessly into the credits.
