• Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the routines on Steve's Comedy Is Not Pretty album is called "Googlephonics" (in which he gaffes his way through a story about stereos, speakers and record needles). Many years before Google was even conceived by its founders, Warner Bros. Records accidentally misspelled the word "googol" in the same way. A common mistake, but still a funny coincidence.
  • The very same album features a gatefold photo of Steve in a bright pink suit with a funny "ain't-I-cool?" expression on his face. Years later, Steve would play Inspector Clouseau in two Pink Panther movies.
• Misaimed Fandom: Besides his natural shyness, another of the reasons why he's become a Reclusive Artist is because he noticed that the people he talked to in social settings would very often take everything he said as a joke and laugh even at what he meant seriously.
