  • Remember in "The Ghost of Butterfly Castle" when Moon learned to stop caring too much about others? The real reason she didn't inform Eclipsa of Mina wasn't because of confidence in the new Queen's ability to defend Mewni. She held back because she was allowing Mina to take care of dethroning Eclipsa for her.
  • There's also the promise Marco and Star made to Meteora and Mariposa, saying they would grow up together in their new lives. With the prospect Mewni and Earth will be separated forever, there's a likely chance it means Star and Marco won't be able to keep their promise to the girls.
