• Hilarious in Hindsight: The name of "Darwin Station". It's meant to be indicative of the fact that the science team are researching the next stage of human evolution, but because their experiment has Gone Horribly Right, the entire team is deserving of a "Darwin Award", being Too Dumb to Live.
• Special Effect Failure: The early stages of Pulaski's rapid ageing are quite well-done. The final stage, on the other hand, somehow manages to look worse than the comparable effects from TOS's "The Deadly Years", despite being made over two decades later.
