• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Quark gives Odo advice to tell Kira how he feels before it's too late. Later, when it is too late, Quark tells him that he has to get back to his former life because it's "bad for his profits", concealing the obviousness that he's concerned for Odo's wellbeing.
    Quark: Sorry to come down so hard but I'm just looking out for my business.
    Odo: Funny... for a moment there... I thought you were talking to me as a friend.
    Quark: ... Nah.
  • Odo returns the favor by installing soundproofing in his floor (Quark had earlier complained about the noise of him shapeshifting) and disguising it as him reinforcing the floors. Especially because it was made clear that he specifically chose those quarters with the intent of annoying Quark with shapeshifting noises.
• Tear Jerker: Odo is emotionally broken when Kira and Shakaar get together. He destroys his quarters and sits in silence in the dark. The first thing he destroys is the plant Kira gave him as a housewarming present.
