• Alternate Character Interpretation: Kang may have genuinely believed Dax was giving him the final blow to finish off the Albino... or he may have fully recognized she didn't have the nerve to go through with it and only said as much to spare the feelings of all involved. A way of repaying her, perhaps, for talking him out of a suicidal (not to mention stupid) plan earlier.
• Fight Scene Failure: In the battle with the Albino's security, many times it is obvious that the bat'leth blades are not actually cutting anyone and have been caught on the padding of the uniforms. When Kang stabs the Albino in the back, neither the weapon nor any blood or damage to his clothing is visible as he falls down the stairs.
• Values Resonance: After seeing his friend for the first time in decades, Kor addresses Dax as Curzon, before she gives her correct name as Jadzia and he readily accepts this. Today, this is used as an example of how to correctly behave when seeing a friend who has come out as transgender: learn their new name and pronouns, and accept it.
