• Special Effect Failure:
  • After attacking Bashir, the blob escapes through a grate in the ceiling, very obviously clipping through it.
  • Also, especially on larger modern displays, the matte painting that serves as the "horizon" for the alien world in this one is especially obvious and is very clearly green-screened in; what really kills it is that there's supposed to be misty clouds ringing the mountains, but the camera lingers on the view long enough to make it clear that the "clouds" are completely static.
