  • Difficulty Spike: Story missions are much harder than the corresponding randomly-generated missions at the same level, and often throw curveballs in terms of the enemies you'll fight. For the random missions themselves, anything involving Crimson Pact pirates is notably harder than comparable missions at the same level, because the pirates are very aggressive attackers. On the flip side, pirate missions usually come without the risk of being attacked by corporate hit squads. In addition, depending on your corporate affiliations you can see the difficulty spike if you take missions against corps that dislike or hate you, since those missions have a higher chance of spawning assassination squads or events that can trigger hostile encounters.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The Prototype. One would think they have had a great deal of unique dialogue and importance considering the main story's focus on robotics AI. Sadly, however, aside from the last mission, they have no such dialogue in the slightest, despite many opportunities for interesting character interactions. It doesn't help that he isn't of much use gameplay wise, either, due to his constant breakdowns and being outclassed in the damage-dealing area by the Cyberninja. Honestly, it's better just to scrap him from the start.
