- Crosses the Line Twice: Takeshi being stalked by two yanderes who couldn't care less whether he loves them back or not? Funny. Said yanderes' father going after him and threatening him for "dating" his daughters? Hilarious. Takeshi ending up in a sealed box in the desert after his breaking up with the twins, like their dad told him to, made them cry? Black Comedy at it's finest.
- Draco in Leather Pants: There's really no shortage of fanboys and fangirls for both Junko and Yukio. Even though both of them are unstable serial killers.
- Jerkass Woobie: Takeshi might be a rude delinquent and a bit of a perv, but he definitely didn't deserve to be stalked and harassed by Aiko and Airi. Or being shipped to the desert by Kiyoshi for the crime of trying to break up with his daughters, which Kiyoshi threatened Takeshi into doing in the first place. He can't even catch a break when he gets back home, as he finds Kiyoshi waiting for him.
- Rooting for the Empire: Despite the Ishikawa family and Yukio being very clear Villain Protagonists, a lot of fans have no problem cheering them on through their numerous crimes because all of them are so entertaining.
