They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Though the episode centers around the idea of Plankton teaming up with Man-Ray, the direction the story goes isn't all that different from most other Plankton-centric episodes, seeming to ignore the potential of the team-up.
"Chum Fricasse"
Alternate Character Interpretation: Was Grandma Tentacles really angry at Squidward for cooking her recipe incorrectly, or, given that she barged in right after the latter said "enjoy [his] world-famous fricassee", was she just upset that he seemingly took credit for it?
While Squidward was letting his newfound fame go to his head, which led to him forcing Plankton to serve the chum when it wasn't ready, you'd be hard-pressed to not feel bad for him when his grandmother chews him out for misusing her fricassee recipe and siccing the angry customers on him for it.
Plankton as well, since the Chum Bucket was finally a success for once, as well as the fact that he tried to protest against serving the undercooked chum.
