Tear Jerker: Squidward is genuinely sad when he's now homeless and now everyone wants to kill him for no good reason. As soon as he cries after confronting SpongeBob and Patrick for ruining his life is just heart-breaking, which thankfully makes the duo realize how much they're hurting Squidward.

Broken Base: Either it's one of those Patrick is a jerk episodes, or funny in its own right, especially since his Jerkass moments are understandable due to not being used to bad smells.
Jerkass Woobie: Patrick. While he might have caused his friends a lot of trouble, he only did it because he was unaccustomed to dealing with horrible smells, and his initial sadness over lacking a nose can tug at the heartstrings, as well as his grief after having it be forcefully taken away from him.
