- Fridge Horror: During the Big Bad's Motive Rant, the Big Bad comments that their last encounter "had not gone as it should have". The Big Bad got what said character wanted — the chance to marry her mate instead of Spock. So how had things not gone as planned? Unless it was unplanned for Spock to live afterwards. Yikes...
- Harsher in Hindsight: Most of the Big Bad's behavior in the last appearance in light of said character's nonchalant commentary on a mate's death:[The mate] died of a hormonal imbalance... I was not entirely displeased...[the mate's estates] satisfied my needs. But then, as time passed, I came to realize that once again you had robbed me... Once again, I did not have my desire, and once again it was your fault.
